The next Pearl Beach Arboretum Environmental Art Trail (PBEAT) will be held in from Saturday 22 March until Sunday 27 April 2025.
EOIs for the Artist in Residence and Emerging Local Artist Programs close Sunday 24 November 2024. The successful Artist in Residence (AIR) will receive a $5,000 artist fee and $5,000 towards 2 weeks accommodation in or near Pearl Beach. The successful Local Emerging Artist (LEA) will receive an artists fee of $2,500. The AIR and LEA program is part oof the Central Coast Councils Creative Art Central Program. EOIs for all other PBEAT2025 art installations from individuals, groups, community organisations and schools close Monday 10 February 2025. First Prize is $3,000.
We are also keen to hear from people who want to run a workshop as part of PBEAT2025.
PBEAT provides a venue for artists to create inspiring temporary public art that promotes nature conservation, supports community identity, and increases cultural vibrancy on the NSW Central Coast. The theme for PBEAT2025 is "#harmony through nature". Schools, community groups and artists are now invited to propose installations inspired by the natural environment.
A Harmony Day celebration will be held as the PBEAT2025 Opening event in the Arboretum from 1pm Sunday 23 March 2024 with live music and food from far and near. Save the Date!
Pearl Beach Twilight Carols in the Arboretum
Monday 23 December at 5.30pm. Park near the tennis courts off Opal Close and stroll through the Arbroetum. Join the Pearl Beach Singers share Christmas cheer with family and friends. Bring a picnic, rug and chairs.
