Invitation to the Arboretum Annual General Meeting Sunday 27 October 2024 at 12.30pm
The Arboretum AGM will be held at the Arboretum on Sunday 27 October 2024 at 12.30 pm. Why not have your morning tea at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall? The Progress Association will be selling delicious pastries with tea and coffee from 10am to 12pm.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Arboretum Cottage verandah - park at the Arboretum carpark at 69 Crystal Avenue Pearl Beach. A formal notification with all AGM papers including audited financial reports will be sent to Arboretum members in the next few weeks. However you are welcome to attend even if you are not a member.

Nominations for the Arboretum Committee
We are a friendly bunch and would welcome any expertise you could bring to the Committee! If you want to stand for the Committee you need to nominate by 12.30 pm Sunday 20 October, by emailing the nomination form to the Secretary or putting your nomination in the Hall letterbox at 9 Diamond Road, Pearl Beach. You must be a member of the Arboretum - you have until 3pm on the date of our next committee meeting Friday 18 October 2024 to join! See https://www.pearlbeacharboretum.org.au/membership .
The Committee comprises the president, vice-persident, treasurer, secretary and up to 12 ordinary members. The nominee and the two nominators must be members of the Arboretum. In the unlikely event of more than one nomination for positions an election will be held at the AGM. Successful nominees will be confirmed at the AGM.

By emailing a completed nomination for to the secretary@pearlbeacharboretum.org.au you are confirming you have the written approval of the nominee and the nominators. Otherwise you can post a signed hard copy to 9 Diamond Road, Pearl Beach NSW 2256 by 12.30 pm Sunday 20 October.

The show promises to be a memorable afternoon filled with more iconic songs than you can imagine, and lots of dancing under the trees! No Working Bee on Sunday 27 October 2024
We have cancelled our normal working bee on the third Sunday of the month for Sunday 27 November 2024. The next Arboretum Working Bee will be on Sunday 17 November from 9am, folowed by a delicious morning tea and a chin wag at 11am. All are welcome - you do not need to be a member.
Calling all Creatives! Expressions of Interest for PBEAT2025 close on 10/11/2024!
The next Pearl Beach Arboretum Environmental Art Trail (PBEAT) will be held in from Saturday 22 March until Sunday 27 April 2025. PBEAT provides a venue for artists to create inspiring temporary public art that promotes nature conservation, supports community identity, and increases cultural vibrancy on the NSW Central Coast. The theme for PBEAT2025 is "#harmony through nature". Schools, community groups and artists are now invited to propose installations inspired by the natural environment.
In addition to the usual great prizes for installations we also have funding for an Artist in Residence aqnd an Emerging Artist. You can read more about PBEAT2025 HERE.
