Our Sensory Garden

A new sensory garden was created near the Arboretum cottage in February 2025. A sensory garden stimulates the senses through plants, textures, sounds, and smells. Sensory gardens can be calming, educational, or therapeutic.  The garden is filled with native small trees, shrubs and ground covers arranged into "sight", Scent, taste, sound, and touch. The garden is constructed so that it is wheelchair friendly and suitable for all people and ages.
